The global demand for electric vehicles (EVs) is growing at a remarkable pace, and our country is also witnessing a rapid shift towards sustainable mobility. With rising awareness about clean energy and advanced technology, consumers are showing greater interest in electric cars than ever before.
Keeping this in mind, Hyundai Motors, one of the leading names in the automobile industry, is gearing up to introduce the Hyundai Creta Electric. The upcoming EV is expected to combine premium design with modern features, offering a strong alternative for buyers looking for both comfort and performance. Let’s take a closer look at its expected features, range, and price.
Hyundai Creta Electric Features
Hyundai is likely to equip the Creta Electric with all the advanced features we see in its latest models. Apart from a comfortable cabin, the EV will bring along smart and safety technologies such as a large touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, automatic climate control, 360-degree camera, parking sensors, six airbags, and seatbelt reminders.
When it comes to power, the car will be launched with two different battery pack options — 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh. Both versions are expected to feature a strong electric motor along with fast charging support, ensuring reliable performance and reduced charging time.
In terms of range, the Hyundai Creta Electric will be highly competitive. Reports suggest that the 42 kWh battery pack could deliver a driving range of around 390 km on a single charge. Meanwhile, the larger 51.4 kWh battery pack is expected to provide an impressive range between 473 km and 500 km, making it suitable for both city driving and long journeys.
Price of Hyundai Creta Electric
As of now, Hyundai has not officially launched the Creta Electric in India, nor has the company disclosed confirmed details about its pricing. However, industry reports indicate that the EV could make its way to the Indian market by early 2026. The expected starting price is likely to be around ₹17 lakh, making it an attractive option in the mid-range electric SUV segment.
